Hipversary

One year ago today my mom broke her hip and received a new one. I can't believe how fast the year has gone by and even more I can't believe how well she has recovered. She spent weeks after the surgery in a wheel chair and using a walker. She graduated with honors to a cane and now needs nothing. Awhile ago (a long while ago) when my niece was about four she, out of the blue, said "Grandma, you rock!!" Mom, you do rock... you are my hero.
